Base Game Glass Pool

Here's a simple Sims 4 Base Game tutorial for creating glass pools! With this method, you can design stunning infinity-style pools and have a unique pool for your Sims!

STEP-BY-STEP

  1. Build a foundation and adjust its height.

  2. Add a pool on top of the foundation.

  3. Open the cheat console (Shift + Ctrl + C) and type bb.showhiddenobjects, then press Enter.

  4. Go to foundation styles and select "Simple Foundation" (grey thumbnail) to apply the glass foundation style. If you have trouble applying it to the pool, try applying it to the foundation first, then add the pool. Both methods should work, but results may vary.

  5. Add a foundation for a patio and pool access. Extend it by at least one tile, as shown in the picture, to apply a separate foundation style without overriding the glass. Hold Shift to target specific areas. Without the extended tile, the style may still affect the glass foundation, even if you press Shift.

  6. Decorate the pool to your liking. Use bb.moveobjects to place items creatively. Recommended items include the Spa Day Stoney Goodness Slab, Get Famous Pristine Pedestal, and Desert Luxe Desert’s End Table.
